The New Leader® L5034G4 is the best built and most versatile compost spreader in the industry. Its superior features allow you to cover more ground in less time - while maintaining an accurate spread pattern - to make your business more profitable than ever.

The extra wide 34” (86cm) conveyor and 50 degree side slopes provide better flow of material and increased output, and the 118” (300cm) wide body increases payload capacity for heavy spreading needs. The non-corrosive stainless steel conveyor floor prevents material build-up under the conveyor, providing longer service life to the overall conveyor system.

The L5034G4 also features dual 30” (76cm) spinners and tandem hydraulic pumps to broadcast material faster and minimize time in the field. Compared to the average compost spreader, spinner power is increased by up to 50% and application rates are increased up to 33% or more; allowing up to 55 foot spreading intervals.

Scruggs Equipment Company has served customers across the Carolinas and Virginia since 1993 with industry leading brands of granular and compost spreading equipment; fertilizer blending and handling equipment; precision agriculture technologies; snow and ice maintenance equipment; and most recently, the GVM Mako Sprayer. Marvin Scruggs founded the business and served a loyal following of customers until June of 2014, when he sold the business to Don Klas and Kevin Klas. Under new ownership, the business has been moved to a larger facility in Lancaster, SC. We have added a remote service technician in the Fayetteville, NC area, and have forged a service partnership with Welborn Farm Services in Wilson, NC.

We are an AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT and PRECISION AGRICULTURE TECHNOLOGY dealer dedicated to servicing our products through the entire life cycle. We maintain a large inventory of spare parts, and are dedicated to staying abreast of new technologies as well as maintaining the ability to service the equipment we have installed over our long history.
