Hello and Welcome to our new web site, I am 57 years old and have been in the agriculture business for 38 years. I opened Scruggs Equipment 18 years ago with the idea of filling in a need for a, reliable Ag business in the eastern region of the US. I choose the product lines we carry, very carefully. I look for the best in all available products on the market and then make a decision on which products I'll carry. Needless to say, I make my decision based on the quality of the equipment. The quality of the company that manufactures the equipment. I weigh the warranty terms and the availability of replacement parts. During the last 18 years I have found some very good employees. Which in this day and age, that is hard to do. I do pick my employees myself. My first service manager was a wonderful addition to the company. He was with us for 16 years. I never thought I could find a replacement when illness struck. After a search, I got lucky. In 2008 We welcomed into the company Alan Peacock. Once again I feel safe with this type of mentality running my service department. When it came time for office and parts help. I again, got lucky. Eleven (11) years ago I welcomed Sherry Everhart into Scruggs Equipment. Still to this day. She is an award winning office and parts manager. Sherry is worth her weight in gold around here. I have always felt that the equipment we build needs to be built to the best standards possible. That is the reason the I personally, Inspect every unit BEFORE it makes it out our door. I personally visit every company for hello visits, follow ups and for new training. The personal touch is what keeps this company on top of the game. With the latest improvements to Scruggs Equipment. Like our new fully equipped service truck(s). The introduction of the F.E.M.P. program. Taking on the G.V.M. line. Also adding Raven Ind. to our list of products. I feel we will be able to fill your company's needs. With the years I have put into Scruggs Equipment. The addition of the managers I have. The great customer base. I truly feel Scruggs Equipment has become what I started out trying to make.
